America's Largest Construction Project Completed

Las Vegas does it again.   The $8.5 billion CityCenter recently opened to incredible architectural reviews.   To understand the magnitude of this project, it encompasses seven buildings and is equivalent to nine, yes 9 Empire State Buildings.    The project required a team of 11,000 craftsmen and took 50 million man-hours to complete.   

The recently opened $8.5 billion CityCenter development on the Las Vegas Strip is the largest private project in US history.

Contained in this epic complex are hotels, restaurants, homes, shopping and high end design shops.   Here are some of the highlights:
  • 47 story, 400 room Mandarin Oriental with 227 condominiums.
  • 400-room Harmon Hotel
  • 57-story, 1,495-room Vdara tower
  • 37-story leaning Veer Towers with 335 residences each
  • 500,000-square-foot Crystals retail and entertainment district
  • 300,000 sq. ft. convention center
  • 1,800 seat theater
  • 215,000-sq-ft pool area
  • 11 story parking garage
