University of Wisconsin-Stout Selects ProTech for Construction Management Classes

Stout welcomes the snowy weather


ProTech has been selected by University of Wisconsin-Stout as the Construction Management Software System for use in teaching Senior Construction Management Students.  

Project Technology Solutions (ProTech), National dealer for the Procore Construction Cloudware System, signed with UW-Stout and participated in the university’s first class exercise in the Fall, comprising 12 mock construction projects and over 60 students.

According to David Galetka,CPC, UW-Stout Assistant Professor, “Using Procore’s construction project management software led to a very successful training session for our students last Fall.  We are thrilled to provide the most state-of-the-art web based construction software on the market for our students.   ProTech has delivered more than we expected in training and assisting with our classroom efforts.  Our next group of 60 students are in for a treat starting tomorrow when we kick off their Procore class project.”

UW-Stout’s construction program is designed to produce leaders with the organizational, analytical, technical and communication abilities to direct the most complicated construction operations. The program is unique because it is oriented toward understanding the construction process as well as the business and management end of construction. Their program is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE).
