Sunbelt Rentals expands into Oklahoma
 Sunbelt Rentals, For Mill, S.C., has opened its first branch in Oklahoma, a new general tool facility in Yukon, Okla., a suburb of Oklahoma City. The company now has locations in 35 states and the District of Columbia.

“This is an exciting time for Sunbelt Rentals,” said Joe Phelan, Sunbelt’s president and CEO. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to open a new general tool location and grow into this vibrant, thriving city. Operating from the state’s largest city and having convenient access to several major highways positions us well to service contractors and homeowners throughout the greater area.”
 

The 5,300-sq.-ft. facility and accompanying 5-acre yard will house more than $3 million in equipment fleet, comprised of the company’s core offering of a broad range of equipment for industrial, commercial and specialty contractors and do-it-yourselfers.

“From the onset of our plans to open the new location, the response we’ve received from those who live and work in the area has been warm and inviting. We’re thankful for the opportunity to serve this community,” said Mike Goday, Sunbelt’s district manager.
